This is a great film about a toy factory owner caught between American companies requiring low contract prices and workers’ increasing demands for better pay and working conditions. Between 2008 and 2010 hundreds of small factories closed. Mr. Lin (Yao Anian who won best actor at the 2014 Montreal Film Festival) tries to remain an honorable man while being pushed financially to force inhuman conditions in the factory in order to make the contract deadline.
